PMW’s metal cutting capabilities allow expedited turnaround times for sheet metal prototypes, as well as the rapid production of complex items that require precise dimensions, shapes, and cuts. PMW keeps a wide variety of types of materials on hand.

CNC Laser Cutting

CNC laser sheet metal cutting capabilities continue to be a much-needed service. PMW’s laser has a 79” x 154” cutting table. We routinely cut 22 gauge to 5/8″ plate. We offer laser cutting of hot rolled, cold rolled, stainless steel, and aluminum.

CNC Plasma Cutting

Plasma cutting is an economical manufacturing process used to cut medium to heavy thickness metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloys. PMW plasma table can accept material 5/8″ thick, up to 96″ x 168″.

CNC Oxy/Acetylene Cutting

Our Oxy-Acetylene torch has capabilities of cutting up to and including 2” ferrous material, with a sheet size of 96″ x 168″. We can make the most of the material.

Sawing

We can saw material up to 14” round, with repeatable auto feed. Band saws are an excellent choice for operations that require maximum flexibility. We use them to make precision cuts on materials ranging in size from a fraction of an inch to up to 20+ feet. We offer two horizontal band saws and two vertical band saw to match your sawing requirements for straight or angle cuts.

Shearing

PMW offers two sheet metal shears. The 8′ shear routinely cuts 3/8″ material. The 10′ shear can cut up to 7-gauge material.
